Whenever you level-up, you restore full Energy. These 2 affixes restore +25 Energy/Mana on top of increasing your total Energy/Mana now. Total Energy and Total Mana have been reworked in 0.8.1 to grant current resource as well.

There are 2 simple rules to this experience system: In 0.8.1, you get experience based on the level of the monsters you're killing. A Gild 2 character is between World 61 to 90. A Gild 1 character is between World 31 and 60. Gild 0 refers to a fresh character, one that hasn't gilded once yet he is between World 1 and 30. Your level will increase or at least stay the same. After gilding, the world you are in should feel pretty similar to the first World of the game in terms of difficulty. You keep forever the bonuses obtained in the automator tree (stones, gems, automator speed). Gilding increases your damage and your level, resets your skill tree and automator tree. Second gild when you enter World 61, etc. Your first gild will happen when you enter World 31.
